Retevis P1 long distance walkie talkie with the single frequency repeater function to achieve better and longer communication distance. This article will be from the definition of single-frequency relay function principle and PI single-frequency relay function realization to explain.
Single-frequency repeater, to put it plainly, only need 1 frequency point to establish a set of repeater system, for the saving of frequency resources to further enhance.
As we all know DMR digital intercom in a single frequency, there are two time slots, time slot 1 and time slot 2. digital radio single-frequency relay function, that is, the radio in the pass-through mode can be in a time slot to receive services, in another time slot for forwarding, thus expanding the communication range of the intercom terminal.
Retevis P1 is equipped with superhet receiver and single-frequency relay, providing a wide communication range. The Retevis P1 also adopts the AES256 encryption mode, which is compatible with the Motor method. This ensures reliable and secure communication while realizing a longer communication range.
To realize the Single Frequency Repeater function, first of all, we need to make the walkie-talkie operate in SFR mode. (We need to select the SFR mode in the programming software)
Example: A B C 3 P1 radios. radio C turn on SFR mode in the software.
Radio A sets the frequency to Rx: 430.525 Tx: 430.525, Slot: 1.
Radio B sets the frequency to Rx: 430.525 Tx: 430.525, Slot: 2.
Radio A and Radio B can realize the communication through Radio C (Handheld SFR Repeater) normally.
Note: "Relay" When the radio is connected to an "external repeater", the software should check the "Relay" box, which is different from SFR.
We all know that the main function of a repeater is to amplify and relay signals, and the built-in single-frequency repeater function of Retevis can realize this function very well. The built-in single-frequency repeater function of Retevis can realize this function very well, providing you with a longer communication distance and communication experience.

I would look into P1, it’s a good option.
