Retevis RB48P GMRS two-way radios Keep Dairy Farms Connected always
We used Retevis RB48P GMRS two way radio as our daily communication tool. Before we chose this model, we searched which model would meet our requirements on Google, and then we found this one: Retevis RB48P.
We know, it is a new model from Retevis. Also, it is an upgraded version of RB48. Because we don't know more information on these two models, we asked Retevis to find the answer.
Retevis answered:
RB48 is a license-free radio, with limited power according to FCC, and with a fixed antenna.
Retevis RB48P is a GMRS radio, the power is higher than the power of RB48 about 5Watts. And RB48P has the Repeater capability.
They suggest we choose GMRS radios, Model RB48P, to have long-range communication.
We have a little Farm of around 30 acres, and we raise and milk purebred Jersey Cows. Our cow's milk is high in butter fat, which we think makes the best Brie, cheese curds, and butter around.
We also sell eggs from our own pastured chickens. We practice biological farming, which means
we do our best to mimic nature so that our animal partners are healthy and happy.
Before we used the walkie talkie, we used the mobile phone to keep connected. But it is not easy for us. Because sometimes, there is no cellphone service. And when we are busy in the field, we drop our cell phones many times and can't find where they are.
And now cellphones have big screens, when we found our cellphones in the soil, the shattered screen left us unable to read a text message, and fixing the screen is also expensive.
So we choose two way radio, and choose Retevis.
Even in winter, we are still busy, because we need to ready a lot of hay, and we need to feed our cows every day.
When we are moving cattle, we use Retevis RB48P GMRS radio to keep in touch. And we will put the third one GMRS radio with our kids to keep in touch when we are working.
We have introduced this walkie-talkie to other farms, and shown them how it rugged.
Retevis really did a good job on two way radios, it is a beautiful upgrade. It has a clear voice and sound and with IP67 waterproof and dustproof, drop-proof.
If you are looking for a good walkie-talkie for your farm, choose this one Retevis RB48P.
From the Retevis website, we know RB48P also has two versions, RB48P is a GMRS handheld radio, and RB648P is a UHF band radio.
So if you have a GMRS license, you may choose RB48P, and if you have other business licenses or others, the UHF band may be better.
