What is wireless copying?
Wireless Copy: All frequency settings can be copied, copying the frequency data of another radio.
Which retevis radios have wireless copy function?
retevis Many walkie-talkies have unlimited copying capabilities. For example; RA79 RB47 RT86 RB37, etc. Today we will use these as examples to explain the specific operation steps, and will be updated continuously in the future.
NOTE; Only the same model can be copied;
1. Press and hold PTT+SIDEKEY 2 to turn on the radio and enter the wireless copy interface, the screen will display AIR COPY(RDY), at this time the frequency and sub-tone of the transmitter and receiver must be the same;
2. the receiver press EXIT to enter the receive mode, the display will change to AIR COPY, the transmitter press MENU to start transmitting write frequency data, the display will change to AIR COPY.
3. During the copying process, the display will show the copying progress RCV:XX E:XX, E:XX indicates the number of errors of the copied data; at the end of copying, the transmitter will show SND:120.
4. Copy successfully, the intercom is turned off and on again.

Switch two radios to 2 channels at the same time and turn off the power, then press UP button and turn on the power, then press the PTT of the copied radios, wait until the green light blinks, the 16 channels are copied, and you can have a normal call after restarting (the channels and functions are copied).

1. Press and hold PF2 key and turn on the radio at the same time.
Press and hold the PF2 button and turn on the radio at the same time for about 1 second.
After seeing the green light flash and hearing three beeps, it enters the wireless copy and receive mode.
2. Long press the PF1 key and turn on the power at the same time for about 1 second, see the red light flash and hear three beeps, then it enters the wireless copy transmission mode.
Press the PTT key, then the red light will flash and you will hear three beeps! Press the PTT key, the red light is blinking and data is being transmitted, it will automatically exit this mode after reboot.
When the red and green lights of the receiving radio cross flash, it means the data being received is received. When the receiver has finished receiving data, the power will restart.
NOTE: The wireless replication frequency and ID code of the transmitter and receiver must be the same when transmitting data. The wireless replication frequency and ID code can be changed by means of the frequency writing software
