Retevis RB17A is a repeater-capable GMRS handheld radio with rugged construction and clear audio quality. This kit includes earpieces for hands-free operation, ideal for construction sites, warehouses, lumber mills, off-roading, camping, hiking, rock climbing, etc.
Long Range Communication Distance
RB17A GMRS handheld radio . In ideal situations (unobstructed use), it can transmit up 3-5 miles handheld to handheld, or up to 10 miles with a Retevis RT97S GMRS repeater.
Repeater-Capable GMRS Radio
RB17A GMRS two way radio has 8 repeater channels, which can be directly connected to the Retevis RT97S GMRS repeater to obtain stronger and longer-distance signals. This will greatly increase your communication range and reliability.

What’s new with the Retevis RB17A GMRS two way radio?
1. No CTCSS/DCS codes on Repeater Channels 23-30.
2. Channels 1-7 and Channel 15-30 are all default wideband (wide/narrowband adjustable). The Wideband is 20kHz and the narrowband is 12.5kHz.
