The RT22 will be very familiar to many people. Most people choose it because it’s small and portable, yet foolproof and easy to use right out of the box.
This is a new HAM radio launched in August 2023 by Retevis. It has adjustable power levels, choosing high power can give you a longer communication range (theoretically up to 5 kilometers). As the first flagship model, it left a deep impression on many amateur radio enthusiasts. It can function as either an FM analog transceiver or a Tier II DMR digital radio. I think my favorite TWO radios would have to be the RA79 and the HA1G, these radios are super great radios, they’re the best for extreme outdoor working environments, and working in dirty tight places where a phone is almost completely useless. I personally think that retevis radios are one of the best and easiest brands to use with multiple frequencies, settings, and overall quality. I highly recommend having a few of these radios around!!
My favorit is the RT622 because its so small and handy and also license free and i can charge the battery with just a powerbank and the power cable 🙂👍 And as a bonus its great with a speaker mic 🙂
My favorite Retevis radio is my RT3S. It was a good radio right out of the box, but now running 3rd party firmware it is a great radio! My RT3S has many hours of use on it and has never let me down.
I have recently tried the Retevis HD1 Amateur Radio a friend loan me. On an exercise here in Ottawa I found the radio to be exceptional the ease of use and its capabilities I liked it so much. I connected up later with the ham owner to find out more about radio and its programming ease. This radio is now on my wish list. For my next purchase.
My favorite is the Ailunce HD1 DMR walkie Talkie because of it beautiful interface and wonderful sound quality.
I use my retevis rt3s almost every day. It has never let me down and i always get very good audio reports
I like the HD1 because of the Tier II DMR.
The Ailunce HD1 this radio is ahead of it's time. I don't need the cable to program it. It was brought for a birthday present and to be honest untill I opened my present on my birthday I didn't even know of the Ailunce HD1. Excellent piece of kit.. I also love using the RT85 Thanks all the best de M7ILZ
I like the RETEVIS RA79 because its not only a talkie walkie for amateur radio on 2 meter and 70 centimeter but also its possible to listen FM broadcasting radios, AM aviation receiving, NOAA channels if you are in USA, its also possible to listen fréquencies 50 to 76 Mhz and 136 to 600 Mhz ! All this for very cheap price.
