Just got my technician class amateur license. Bought this radio while I was studying for the test. Had lots of options. YouTube is a great resource for learning how to program it. Once you get the hang of it it’s super easy to use. Very good clarity.

Overall I am pleased with this radio. It has flexibility in what it can do and how you can use it. I like being able to scan both DMR and analog at the same time. The dual VFO seems like it would work well for satellite comms.

Amateur Radio DMR and Analog. This radio has a much better internal speaker than other radios that I own. It was a bit difficult to program, but that is common for DMR codeplugs.

This Radio came with two batteries. I have used the for multiple days with out having or charging the radio. The sound is good. I will say as for ease of use the radio is a DMR and there is a learning curve but I am enjoying the radio.

This is an excellent dual band handheld with DMR. The radio feels solid and performs well reaching a repeater 9 miles away in an urban area.The radio is capable of being programmed both for analog and digital from the keypad.
