RA87 40W GMRS Walkie Talkie Repeater / Base Station

The repeater consists of two RA87 40W GMRS mobile radios, with built-in linear regulated power supply, which is stable and reliable. GMRS repeater frequency: 467.5500~467.7250, 8 GMRS repeater channels. Can be connected with retevis handheld radios, such as HA1G, RA85, etc.

RA87 forms a 20W-27W high-power GMRS repeater, and the installation box has a stabilized power supply and a compartment. After getting it, make simple settings on RA87 (such as frequency, high/low power, sub-audio, etc.). One RA87 acts as the transmitting frequency and the other is set as the receiving frequency. A complete GMRS repeater can be formed by connecting to the power supply and 2 antennas.

It can be connected with mobile radios such as RA87，RA86 and RT95.The handheld radio can be connected with GMRS two way radios such as HA1G, RA85, RB75, RB26, RB19P and so on. Large base solution, suitable for large farms, dairy farms, warehouses, supermarkets, hotels, etc.

This is a solid radio for intro into GMRS. The guts are small enough to mount just about anywhere .The range appears to be pretty good with the provided antenna.

Installed in a Jeep JL Wrangler. Works great. Haven’t measured range exactly, but serves my purpose of communicating with friends while off-roading. The sound is crystal clear. Mic feels substantial and not like cheap plastic. Will definitely be buying a couple more for other vehicles

I installed this in my rzr- it was very simple to install by simply using 12v (cigarette lighter). I like the fact I could easily remove this from one vehicle to another without having to ‘re-wire’ anything

Put in my jeep. Run its own power supply and don’t use the cigarette lighter. You may “be able” to but it draws more power than what the little wire supplies to your cigarette lighter can supply. Took me a hot minute to figure out how to program manually but once I figured it out it was smooth.

Very powerful. Will be much better than the handhelds we have been using. It even came with a small magnetic antennae that was mentioned on the box. Great value for this model. Speaker volume is loud.

I am able to "kerchunk" (look it up) my local big boy repeater from my house which is about 15 miles and speak with others all over the city on it. As you get more versed you will hear about splitting frequencies but for what it is worth, I have not felt the need to as most public repeaters transmit and receive with the same tone YMMV.

Been using this on every offroad trip. No cellphone signal and this thing comes in clutch. I like that you can set this up in a lot of ways. Mine is less elegant and just sitting around but still looks small and clean
