Function settings of RA79

Wireless replication

Only support the same model of the whole machine copy;

1. Press and hold [PTT+SIDEKEY 2] to turn on the power to enter the wireless copy interface, the screen will display [AIR COPY(RDY)], at this time the frequency and sub-tone of the transmitter and receiver must be the same;

2. the receiver press [EXIT] to enter the receive mode, the display will change to AIR COPY, the transmitter press [MENU] to start transmitting write frequency data, the display will change to AIR COPY.

3. During the copying process, the display will show the copying progress RCV:XX E:XX, E:XX indicates the number of times the copied data is out of order; at the end of the copying process, the transmitter will show SND:120.

4. Copy successfully, the walkie-talkie turns off and on again.

One-touch frequency pairing

One-touch frequency pairing requires strong signal, and the distance between the transmitter and the receiver should not be too far.

1. Press [F]+4 to enter the frequency measurement interface, after receiving strong signal, the screen will display the signal carrier frequency and transmit CTCSS or DCS, press * to remeasure the frequency. 

2. Press [MENU] key to store the current measured frequency and transmit signaling to the specified channel after the valid frequency is measured. 3.

3. Press [EXIT] or [PTT] to exit the frequency meter during frequency measurement.

Storing and Deleting Channels

1. 1. in MR mode, you can provide the storage channel to copy the current channel to a new channel.

2. in VFO mode, you can set up the storage channel.

In VFO mode, set the reception parameters, press MENU→13→CH-001, press MENU to enter, use up and down keys to select the channel number to be stored, or press numeric keypad to input the channel number, press MENU, the display will show "SURE?", press "[MENU]" again to store the channel. "CH-XXX indicates that the channel is a stored channel and XXX indicates that the channel is empty. Press MENU→50, then press MENU→50.

3. Press MENU→50→CH-XXX, press [MENU] to enter, use up and down keys to select the channel number to be deleted, or press numeric keypad to input the channel number, press [MENU], "SURE?" is displayed, press "[MENU]" again to delete the channel. Press [MENU] again to delete the channel.
